1. Quote I love…
“To get what we’ve never had, we must do what we’ve never done.”
We are in unprecedented times. The future is uncertain. The ones that will not just survive in this upcoming environment, but thrive, will do so because of their beliefs, attitude, and commitment to work hard. I came across this short video, 212 Degrees, that has been around for many years, but I was happy to re-watch it this week. It’s short, but powerful. With all the negativity and fear being pumped out by the media, you need more uplifting, inspirational material these days. Enjoy!
2. Funny image I came across this week…
As parents adjust to the new schooling at home dynamic, it’s good to get a laugh from time to time. A teacher told me about this image, and I found it online. Funny!
3. Most upsetting thing I am seeing these days…
I have witnessed numerous posts on Facebook and YouTube get pulled down. I knew there were things happening behind the scenes to direct web traffic away from some content and sites, but had never seen such blatant censorship like I have these past few weeks. I am very, very, very worried because if you are unable to see all information possible, you are unable to make a fully informed decision. And this goes for any topic. Currently, there are varied scientific opinions and information on this coronavirus pandemic, alternative medical treatments, leadership decisions, personal rights, and, of course, the anticipated vaccine. I NEVER tell patients what they should or should not do. I provide them with as much information as possible so that they can make an informed decision based on that information. It is not only hard to make the best decisions regarding your health if you do not get all the facts, it is IMPOSSIBLE. Every medical procedure, medication, and vaccine comes with some risk. No one will dispute that. Therefore, you must be aware of, and informed of, those risks. You may decide that the benefits outweigh the risks and proceed, but you will do so having fully evaluated the information. Too often, patients do not know or fully understand the risks of the procedure or medication they are being given until it is too late. I encourage you to read and watch EVERYTHING you can PRIOR to making critical healthcare decisions for you and your family. The fact is… we have been told many things were safe and effective, only to find out later that they were NOT. Whether you strongly agree with a medical treatment, medication, or procedure, or strongly disagree with it, one thing we absolutely need to agree on is that we, as American citizens, have the right to choose. Even if there are disputable facts shared by sources such as Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, Dr. Rashid Buttar, and the 26-minute “Plandemic” documentary, or if you disagree philosophically with sources like these, do you really believe that EVERYTHING they share is false, made up, or inaccurate? Be careful not to make decisions based on limited information. And knowing that information is definitely being pulled down from the web is scary.
