1. An Important Video Message…
2. Something I’ve been doing more (I did it this morning)…
We often don’t appreciate feeling good… until we feel bad. I have been taking time more often to stop, close my eyes, breath in and out, and really appreciate feeling good. When you are sick with a cough, aching muscles, bad fever, or throwing up, all you want to do is feel better. Well, most of you right now feel pretty good. So… take a moment right now, close your eyes, breath in and out deeply, and appreciate feeling good. It will be especially helpful and important at a time like this, when fear and stress could be affecting you. We often don’t appreciate what we have until we don’t have it. Well, you probably feel good right now (not sick), so soak it up… acknowledge it, appreciate it, be grateful for it, and REALLY feel it. Ahhhhh! How nice it is to feel good right now!
3. More on coronavirus…
I personally know someone that was hospitalized and tested positive for the coronavirus. He was also in a higher risk category due to being over overweight. He is now at home, oxygen levels increasing daily, and feeling better. There is another man in my neighborhood that did test positive for the coronavirus, was hospitalized, and is now home and well. He is 83 years old and has COPD (a lung condition). I share these stories because people think that they will be doomed if they get the virus, yet MOST people recover very well. And both of these men were in higher risk categories. So, getting the virus is not a death sentence by any means. It still needs to be taken very seriously, and some may require medical attention, and there will be fatalities, but it is important to hear more success stories so you can relax and be confident that you can get the virus and be just fine. Stay positive!
