1. Concept I read about this week…
A great success technique is visualization… actually seeing in your mind what you want your future to look like. Then you figure out what you have to do to achieve that. This week, I read about (can’t find or remember where I read it) anti-vision… where you write down what your life will look like in 5 years if you don’t change anything. That is pretty powerful! We want change, we need change, and we think things will change… but they don’t. Why? Because we keep doing the same things we’ve always done. So… use anti-vision… without changing anything, what will your life look like in 5 years. That could be just what you need to think about to GET MOVING!
2. Funny sign I saw last week…
While waiting for a table at a restaurant in Tennessee last weekend, we got a chuckle out of a sign they had sitting on the hostess stand. I found it very funny!
3. Quote I love…
Heard this one this week. I love it…
“Don’t stop when you are tired… stop when you are done.” – David Goggins
I have found that my mind gives out before my body. I start telling myself that I’m tired… or that I’ve done enough… or that it’s getting too hard… and my body believes it. When my mind commits to finishing, I can almost always push through the tiredness.
