1. Something I had posted in my office this week…
Each week, we change what we post in our treatment rooms, and this week, there was one that people seemed to really like. It is ideal for spring, but seemed to resonate around this Thanksgiving holiday. It’s titled, For the Garden of Your Daily Living. I believe the author is unknown, so I cannot give proper credit. So many people commented on it this week that I thought it was worth sharing here…

2. Confusing thing I saw this week…
While in the grocery store, I saw Horizon organic milk… in the middle of the isle, unrefrigerated!?! I know this is not new, but I snapped a pic of it to remind me to look it up later. How in the world can you have unrefrigerated milk? Well, they use ultra-high temperature pasteurization (UHT). I do not drink milk, so it doesn’t affect me, but I would be cautious of harsh processing procedures to your foods, as they alter the nutritional makeup of these foods. In regards to milk… it is the number one food allergen. I have had many patients cut out milk and have many of their health problems disappear. I have friends that swear by raw milk, and I believe the nutritional content and health benefits would be significantly better, but you can’t even buy that legally in Ohio. Anyway… unrefrigerated milk caught my attention and freaked me out a bit. I’ll stick with almond, coconut, and macadamia nut milks.

3. One of my favorite things to watch…
I love, love, love watching people doing things that blow my mind. I’ve shared People Are Awesome videos in the past, but they never get old. Here is one of the newest ones. It’s three minutes of uplifting and inspiring clips, and the music in this one is great too. Among my favorites… the guy doing a handstand next to a pool and dipping his hands in the water, and the girl tripping over the hurdle (the mom yelling in the background is the best!). Enjoy!!! Oh… and people ARE awesome… YOU ARE TOO!
