1. Problem I have…
I have shared mistakes that I’ve made, bad habits I have, and some of my shortcomings in these Friday’s Findings. I haven’t in a while, and I wish it was because I make so few mistakes, have so few bad habits, and have so few shortcomings… but… that’s not why. So… here’s one… I read A LOT, think A LOT, and strategize A LOT… but I don’t execute enough. I talk to myself (and Lana) about A LOT of things I SHOULD do… but I don’t do them. I’m realizing that with READY… AIM… FIRE, I spend A LOT of time AIMING… AIMING… and AIMING. I will be working on FIRING more this next year. How about you? Have you talked A LOT about doing something, but STILL haven’t done it? I don’t know about you, but I am sick of hearing myself TALK about doing things… but not actually doing those things.
2. GREAT article I read this week…
If you follow football, you know who Nick Chubb is. If you’re a Cleveland Browns fan, you DEFINITELY know who Nick Chubb is. Incredible running back, hardest worker, quiet, and a guy that you know you can depend on. I did not know much about him outside of football, but my brother sent me a great article this week that Chubb wrote. (Thanks, Greg!) I recommend reading it, even if you don’t know who he is or care about football. It is worth the read. Click here for the article.
3. Shout out to my daughter, Quincy…
My daughter, Quincy, competed with her Ohio State Water Ski team last weekend at the National Collegiate Water Ski Association National Championships. She took 1st place in the jump competition making her the Women’s D2 Jump National Champ! I watched her commit a lot of time and energy into getting better this past year and was very happy to see that hard work pay off. Congrats, Quincy! Super proud!
