2. Great podcast I listened to this week…
Dr. Marty Makary wrote a book recently called, Blind Spots: When Medicine Gets It Wrong and What It Means for Our Health. I have not read it yet, but will in the next couple weeks. I’ve heard him on a couple of podcasts, and he has a great perspective on medicine. Click here to hear him on The Model Health Show, with Shawn Stevenson. It is LOADED with valuable stats and facts, and this information is critical for you to know if you want to navigate the crumbling healthcare system and live a truly healthy life.
3. Great quote I read this week…
“The trees are about to show us how beautiful it is to let things go.”
Some quotes do such a great job of capturing an idea, concept, or thought in just a handful of words. I loved this one. Letting go can be tough, painful, and scary. But letting go does not mean forgetting about or disregarding. It really is about moving to the next step in your growth, evolution, and state of being. (Thanks, Laurie F. for sharing that one!) And this quote and the image below came from @sketches_in_stillness on Instagram. Check them out for more like it.
