1. Products I love…
Massage is very therapeutic. There are many massaging devices on the market, and most do a decent job. I have several. One popular device is the Hypervolt by Hyperice, a handheld percussion gun, which has 3 speeds and interchangeable heads. I love it, but it is pretty hardcore, even on the lowest setting. Most athletes love it. Click here for the product link on Amazon. The other one I use is the Styles II Unknot and Tone Body Massager. This one is also a percussion massager, but less aggressive. It has four changeable heads (I’ve only used one) and a dial that allows you to adjust the speed. I’ve given this one as a gift to many people. It is a great tool to help loosen muscles, improve blood flow, and relax. And it’s less than $50. The Hypervolt is closer to $300. Click here for the product link for the Styles II Massager on Amazon. And no tool is going to be as effective as getting a massage from a good licensed massage therapist, but tools like these can be used on a regular basis at times when you are unable to schedule a massage.

2. Wellness tip…
It is imperative that you consider getting a second opinion when dealing with health issues. I had a patient this week that was living in another state and was told he needed his toe amputated, and that was his only option. He came back to Cleveland, saw a doctor here who disagreed with that, and offered another option. He still has all ten toes! Another patient had an ATV injury while out of town and crushed his elbow. Those doctors told him that they needed to amputate his arm from just above his elbow down. His wife put him in the car, drove him back to Cleveland, and the doctors here had a different opinion. Other than some restricted motion in the elbow, his arm is fully functioning. You MUST get a second, third, or even forth opinion, when dealing with significant health issues. When a doctor says “these are your only options,” that means “these are the only options I have for you.” It’s worth getting multiple opinions. Oh… and one of those opinions should be from a more natural and holistic-minded doctor, so you can get a true second opinion from someone looking at the situation from a different philosophy.
3. Reminder of event coming up…
In a previous Friday’s Findings, I mentioned that I was invited to speak at this year’s Customer Service Revolution Conference. If you want to improve your business, improve how you perform in the business you work in, or want to simply improve your life, this conference is a must. The money you spend on this virtual conference is not an expense… it’s an investment. I suggest getting a group together for the best pricing. Click here for more information (it is a virtual event held every Thursday in October). I can’t wait to speak at this event!
