1. Biggest news this week…
Well… Lana and I got married last week! We kept it small and simple, with just us and our six children. We did it on the beach in Costa Rica and packed in some adventure around it. The trip was incredible, the weather was perfect, and the wedding was amazing. This past week has been incredible. To exchange vows with Lana, join together in marriage, and to do it with our children being there, was extremely special. I’ll add a few pics below.
2. What made the trip even better…
To watch our family dive into the adventures on this trip was amazing and exciting … whitewater rafting Class IV rapids on the Pacuare River, hiking in the jungle and spending the night in remote cabins without electricity, ziplining through the canopy of the jungle, and surfing on the Caribbean Coast. A special thanks to Serendipity Adventures (serendipityadventures.com) for setting up the trip and making it work, the Aguas Claras Hotel (hotelaguasclaras.com), where we spent most nights, where we got married, and where we received impeccable service, the Cahuita Experience Surf School (cahuitaexperience.com) for the awesome surf lessons, and to Sergio and all of the other guides for making this a perfect trip to Costa Rica. These experiences were world-class, and they were made SO MUCH better by watching Lana and the kids overcome fears, stretch their limits, and do things that I’m sure will expand their thinking and beliefs. They ALL impressed me!
3. My biggest concern right now…
The FDA is moving to decide on whether or not children under 5 years old should be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine. While some are excited about this, I am TERRIFIED! Simply put, I believe this will be the biggest mistake made yet (and there have been plenty). It would be authorized under the Emergency Use Authorization. Show me the “emergency” in this age group. There isn’t one. I believe this authorization (and I am certain it will go through) will be the most reckless, dangerous, and greedy move yet on behalf of Pfizer. Mark my words… it will be a HUGE mistake.
