1. Back in the day…
Remember when Sea World had a water ski team? I was fortunate enough to be on that team for five seasons. What an incredible experience! I will write a blog soon that I will call, “Five Life Lessons I Learned as a Professional Water Skier.” One of those lessons is find someone who knows exactly how to do what you want to do and has perfected it, and ask them to teach you. (I’ll expound on that in that upcoming blog.) For now, I will share a pic I came across this week while cleaning out my basement. This is a four-man front flip off the ramp. I am the second one from the left (in the blue and yellow wetsuit). So fun!!!

2. What I am working on…
I am at the grocery store 3-4 times every week. I have tried to use the recyclable/reusable bags numerous times, but it is always short lived. Somehow I get out of the routine, forget them in my car, or get just plain lazy. Those plastic bags are terrible, and I know I need to stop using them. When I was in San Diego, you had to pay extra for a bag, which was paper, and plastic bags were not even available. Those laws/policies are coming our way, but we really shouldn’t wait. So… I am making a serious effort starting right now to use those reusable bags. I am committing to bring them EVERY time, and vow to go out to my car to get them if I forget them. No more excuses! Join me.
3. Cool video…
Watch this video, Ferrari F1 Pit Stop Perfection. It’s a bit mesmerizing. Like looking at a form of art. What makes it so cool is that this is ridiculously complex, yet they make it look so easy. I like it because it encompasses so many success traits… teamwork, dedication, skill, attention to detail, mastery, etc. I am always amazed at what is possible when a group of people come together to achieve a single goal… and it’s done with intensity and enthusiasm. I must have watched this video a dozen times.
