1. Something I started doing again…
When my three children were younger, every morning I would leave a quote written on a piece of poster board in the kitchen for them to read. I would then explain the quote that night. These quotes were motivational, educational, and/or thought provoking. I’ve always liked quotes from leaders, big thinkers, and people of influence, and felt it was a great way to give my kids quick, easy, and powerful nuggets each day. Well… I started doing it again last week. And, as you can imagine, I get a lot of sarcasm from my three teenagers, and these do not have immediate impact, but I believe they are helpful, and it’s worth doing. Here are a few of those quotes…
2. Better news I found…
I rarely watch the news. I think it might be the worst thing you can do before going to bed. It’s sensational, loaded with fear, and you have no idea if what you’re being told is real. 3. Modification I’ve made…
We launched a weight loss program a little over a year ago and have had great success with over 150 people having gone through it. Because of the current situation, we’ve launched that same program with the option to do it remotely. It is 6 weeks long, and most people lose at least 20 pounds.
