1. Video I made this week…
I write a blog each week (and have done so for almost 20 years!). I get a lot of feedback on those, so I know people are reading them. I also know some people prefer video content over written content. I’ve toyed with the idea of putting the blog content each week into video format as well. I decided to try it this week. We always include the current week’s blog at the bottom of the Friday’s Findings email we send out each Friday to our subscribers, but this week I’m adding a video with that same content. You can watch that video below…
2. Some good images I saw this week…
I see lots of images on social media that are educational, inspirational, and/or thought-provoking. I will usually save the best ones, send them to friends or family, or post them here. Here are a few that I hadn’t seen before that stood out. We NEED these little insights and reminders to knock us back on track, lift us up, or just to get us thinking. Here they are…

3. Quote I love…
“Model the rise… not the result.”
I heard this quote this week but can’t remember where I heard it or who said it. But I jotted it down and just reread it. We tend to look at successful people and try to model what they are doing now. But what they are doing now keeps them where they are, but it is not what got them to where they are. It’s easy for a super successful person to urge younger people to follow their passion, but they leave out all the things they did, and had to do, to get where they are and that they may have resented, despised, and had NO passion for at all. Bottom line… you must model the stuff successful people DID to get where they are.
