1. Study that everyone MUST be aware of…
Last month, a study was published in The Lancet proving that natural immunity to COVID is “at least as high, if not higher” than that provided by the vaccine. You don’t say!?! This was the largest meta-analysis to date, and included an impressive 65 studies from 19 countries. Why is this SO important? Because it is exactly what many have said since early on in the pandemic. Not only was this suggestion often ridiculed, but many people suggesting this were banned from social media platforms. And the people in charge dismissed natural immunity and would not even consider it. Read more in this nbc.com article by clicking here, but notice how it states… even in light of this information… that “Still, experts stress that vaccination is the preferable route to immunity…” Wow! So bizarre! Another pertinent article you should read is an opinion piece in the New York Post, titled “10 Myths Told by COVID Experts – and Now Debunked.” You can read that by clicking here. We’ve often heard that truth prevails. Well… take it, or leave it, the truth is now starting to prevail.
2. Bulletin board I saw last week and liked…
While at North Canton Hoover High School last week, I saw a bulletin board with a simple, but interestingly profound message on it. Check it out. To think that simple reminders, connections, and words could change someone’s day, and possibly even save a life…
3. Great wellness tip I picked up last week…
Many people subscribe to the idea that small healthy snacks throughout the day are better than large meals. There are reasons why this is not the best advice in regards to eating, but it can apply VERY WELL to exercise. Longer, grueling workouts are great, but what could be just as impactful, and maybe even MORE impactful, would be to start SNACKING ON EXERCISE! Doing little bursts of movement throughout the day will help you. Stand up in your cubicle, and do 10 air squats… when the elevator closes at work, do 10 jumping jacks… when returning from lunch, park on the other side of the parking lot and walk fast, jog, or skip to the building… take a quick break and walk up and down the stairs 4-5 times… etc. Your heart will love you, your immune system will give back to you, and your body will thank you. Just think of it as SNACKING ON EXERCISE!
