1. Valentine’s Day Tip/Challenge…
Many people wonder how their marriages have weakened, crumbled, or how they have simply grown apart. They speak of how amazing things were early on. How fun, exciting, and passionate they were early in the relationship. It has become a common thought, and accepted, that the weakening, crumbling, and growing apart are just the way things go. Take a moment and think about the things you did at the beginning of your relationship and compare those things to how you are now. Did you listen more? Did you compliment more? Did make more time for him or her? Did you work at making the relationship better? Were you more spontaneous? Were you more fun? Well… the relationship was much better early on because of the things you did to make it that way. I want to encourage you to commit to making more of an effort (like you did in the beginning of your relationship) and watch what happens to the quality of the relationship. Commit to building, or rebuilding, what you once had. Make an effort. Work at it. Where should you start??? Start by doing the things you did when you were first together.

3. A recent revelation I have had…
I have always believed that if I could help people have less pain, function better, and have a better understanding of wellness, then weight loss would be a natural byproduct that would follow. What I have learned in the past year is that the weight loss usually has to happen first. Once a person sheds those unwanted pounds, THEN they are more apt to take interest in the wellness lifestyle, goal setting, maximizing relationships, and optimal living. This was a surprise to me. Since launching our weight loss program, I have had so much fun watching people reach a new level of happiness, excitement, and self-appreciation. Whether it’s our program, or another program, commit right now to losing that extra weight. You can be in a much better place (and a smaller clothing size) before spring hits. Our program is only six weeks long, and you would lose 20 pounds (or more). Take a moment, close your eyes, and imagine being 20-30 pounds lighter. Imagine how you’d look… how you would feel… and what that would mean for your overall health. Of course it would impact you physically, but think about the mental and emotional impact it would have. Join me this Wednesday, February 19th, at 6:30pm at my office for all the information on this program. If you have no interest, or if this is not the right time for you, please share this info with a friend or family member. (Seating is limited, so call to reserve a spot at 330-405-2751). What are you waiting for???
