1. Inspiring person…
If you haven’t heard of Dick and Ricky Hoyt, you’ve got to check them out. Watching Dick Hoyt, and seeing what he has done for his son, will make you feel pathetic as a parent. Click here to get the background on these two amazing individuals (it’s about 13 minutes, but worth it!), and then click here to watch a video that will inspire you (while bringing you to tears). Stories like this always get me thinking… what am I REALLY capable of???
2. What’s Wrong With That…
I had a patient that was suffering from neck pain and daily headaches. An MRI was done, and the doctor pointed out two degenerated discs in the patient’s lower neck, stating, “There’s your problem.” The doctor then prescribed muscle relaxers and pain pills. Hmmmm. How will those medications affect those discs??? They won’t! A key to success when it comes to optimal health and wellness is addressing the cause… not the effect. We effectively help improve the function of those spinal joints, which is why we have such success with cases like these. Make sure you are addressing the cause of your problems (and not just your health problems), and not merely masking the symptoms.
3. Great Quote…
“Stop believing everything you think.”
The person I heard this from did not know the source, but I love it. Our biggest obstacle is getting over our own limiting beliefs. Start questioning why you do the things you do, and the way you do them. Especially if they are not working, and you are not getting the results you want.
