1. Cool concept I learned (or at least was reminded of) this week…
I listened to a really good interview with Ken Honda, the Japanese best-selling self-development author and money expert. (He was on the School of Greatness podcast with Lewis Howes, which you can listen to here.) He had some interesting, neat, and quirky ideas about money, how to handle money, and your relationship with money. One thing that stood out to me… investing more in what he calls invisible assets. We are always hearing about visible assets, like stocks, bonds, real estate, houses, etc., but invisible assets are friendships, love, connection, purpose, experiences, etc. These are the things that, even in a financial collapse, will hold their value. And at the end of your life, these are the things that hold the most meaning and carry the most value. So… as you work to improve your investment portfolio, build wealth, and acquire assets, make sure you place time, energy, and resources into building INVISIBLE ASSETS. I’m giving more thought to that since hearing that podcast.

3. Great quote I saw last week…
“Where you’re going is so much more important than where you’ve been.”
This quote caught my attention while in Austin two weekends ago. It was outside one of the bars in downtown Austin.
