1. Funny post I saw this week…
I see lots of funny posts each week (which is one of the reasons I scroll more than I should). I thought you’d enjoy this one…
2. Great podcast I listened to this week…
I’m finding the Diary of a CEO podcast to be one of my favorites. Steven Bartlett does a great job interviewing and asks such good questions. The one I listened to most recently that I think everyone would benefit from hearing is with Dr. Roger Seheult, who is “a world-leading doctor in internal medicine, lung health, critical care, and sleep medicine.” He shares a bunch of very interesting data, as well as many useful nuggets you can implement immediately to improve your health. I knew a lot of what he shared, but definitely learned a lot. You can watch the YouTube video below or click here to hear that podcast. His info on sunlight and all spectrums of light are spot on, and I believe he helps change the current narrative that the sun is bad… as we need MORE sunlight.
3. New word I learned this week…
I’ve always thought it was super cool to see flocks of birds flying in tight formations, making synchronous movements as they swoop through the sky. I saw a video this week of some of those and found out there is a word for that phenomenon. It’s called murmuration, and it’s defined as “a large group of birds, usually starlings, that all fly together and change direction together, or the act of birds doing this.” Whatever it’s called, it’s amazing… and is one of those wonders of nature that reminds me that there are bigger things at work in this world that we may never understand (and don’t have to!). Check out the video below of several murmurations…
