1. Great clip I saw this week…
Neal Foard is a guy who shares powerful stories on TikTok and YouTube. Every story that I’ve heard him tell was captivating, inspiring, and/or moving. I’m going to learn more about him this week, as I have downloaded a couple of podcasts that include him. He appears to be a master in the art of storytelling. Here is the one that I watched this week that I thought was worth sharing…
2. Quote(s) I love…
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
– Viktor Frankl

Viktor Frankl is the author of the great book, Man’s Search for Meaning. He was a neurologist, psychiatrist, and Holocaust survivor. Another quote from him that I think about regularly and try to remind myself about often is…
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
3. Scary stat I read this week…
New data put out by the CDC shows that just about 1 in 3 teenagers are now prediabetic. YIKES! Type 2 diabetes used to be called “adult-onset diabetes” because children did not get diabetes. What’s changed??? Not our genes. Our lifestyle. Our food and activity level has destroyed the health of children (and adults). BEWARE… the pharmaceutical industry wants the solution to be putting kids on medication. They are licking their chops knowing that 8.4 million 12- to 17- year-olds could become new, great customers. The real solution… better diet and increase physical activity. The good news… this is completely reversible and fixable…IF WE DO THE RIGHT THINGS.
