1. Fun thing that happened this week…
I own a 1940 Ford Coupe. It was a gift I gave my dad for his 60th birthday (Read next week’s blog for full details on that!). When he passed away, it became mine. I partnered up with a good friend, Ray Tartabini (who knows more about cars than I ever could), because I didn’t want to sell it, but I also knew I wouldn’t be able to take care of it the way it deserved. To my surprise, Ray entered the car into last weekend’s Piston Powered Auto-Rama Show at the I-X Center in Cleveland. It looked SO GOOD on display. Oh yeah… and won 1st Place in its class! So cool! I’m grateful for Ray’s interest, commitment, and expertise, and for helping to create a special moment for me and my family. Here’s a pic of the ’40 Ford at the show… Ray and me with the car… and a pic of the trophy…
2. Daily pics I got this week…
We complain about the weather in Cleveland A LOT! Why? Because it is so complaint-worthy. But like most things in life, we tend to forget the good and focus on the bad. Well… I took a picture each morning on my way out the door of the sunrise over the lake in our backyard. A GREAT way to start the day! And documented proof that the weather isn’t ALWAYS bad in Cleveland.
3. Product I love…
One of my favorite parts of getting a massage is when they massage my head. A few years ago, I found an electric scalp massager that is legit… the Tenswa Electric Scalp Massager Portable Head Massager. This thing is awesome! Somehow, it is able to deeply massage the scalp with its four rotating heads and 112 mini massage nodes without getting tangled in the hair. It is cordless, rechargeable (it holds a charge for a long time), has two massage speeds, and is even waterproof, and it doesn’t just lightly massage the scalp, it kneads it deeply. It can be used to massage your muscles as well. And it’s less than $40! It makes getting, or giving, a scalp massage much easier. Check it out by clicking here.
