1. Great interview I watched (and STRONGLY recommend)…
One of my favorite health and wellness experts is Dr. Zach Bush. He is a triple board certified medical doctor with a background like no one else. I love hearing what he has to share any chance I get. I am sharing a recent interview that was done with him on this Covid-19 issue. It is THE BEST information I have heard on this issue yet. His message is powerful. It is a longer video (1 hour 20 minutes), thus I wasn’t going to share it, but as the week went on, I felt more and more compelled to do so. The interview is loaded with good information, with the last ten minutes leaving me just sitting there reflecting. I’d say just watch the last 10 minutes at least, but I believe the whole interview is worth listening to. Here is the link…
2. Something that entertained me this week…
My brother passed along a short video put out by Kevin James. It made me laugh. We need more humor in these crazy times. It is less than 2 minutes. We have to be able to laugh at some of the ridiculousness going on right now. Here is that link…
3. Two books I am NOT reading right now, but will eventually…
I like taking deep dives into health-related issues, even the controversial ones (and it seems like especially the controversial ones). Two BIG issues regarding the status of our health are our food industry and EMF’s (electromagnetic frequency radiation). One of those books is Food Fix: How to Save Our Health, Our Economy, Our Communities, and Our Planet—One Bite at a Time, written by Mark Hyman, M.D., a functional medicine leader and best-selling author. The other book is EMF*D: 5G, Wi-Fi & Cell Phones: Hidden Harms and How to Protect Yourself, by Dr. Joseph Mercola. I believe the information in these books is extremely important. We need to be educated, informed, and aware about the potential CAUSES of the exploding rates of chronic illness, which is why I delve into this kind of information. So why am I NOT reading them right now??? Although we NEED books like this, I am concerned that neither book will leave me excited, motivated, or thinking positively about what is going on in this world. And I do not need more bad news and negative information right now. Put them on your list to get to down the road. And if you want to hear a bit about the Food Fix book and some of the incredible facts and stats from Dr. Hyman about our ridiculously bad food industry, this very good podcast he did with Ben Greenfield is what peaked my interest… https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/podcast/nutrition-podcasts/food-industry/
