1. Something I am NOT worried about…
By now, you’ve heard the hype around the new Hantavirus. Two problems… it’s not new… and… the fear the media is pushing is WAY overblown. The media loves fear, so you’ll hear words like “deadly virus,” “mysterious outbreak,” and “experts are warning.” Can it be serious if you get it? Yes. Will you get it? No. Things the media is not reporting… (1.) It’s very rare. Only a few dozen cases in the U.S. per year; (2.) You have to inhale particles from rodent urine, droppings, or saliva, and it is usually in small, enclosed, dusty areas; (3.) It DOESN’T SPREAD FROM PERSON-TO-PERSON!!! So, you won’t catch it from another person. My guess… they’ll have a vaccine ready any day now ($$$). And don’t forget about Zika, Ebola, Swine Flu, Monkeypox, MERS, and all the other viruses the media hyped up and freaked everyone out about… that turned out to be NO BIG DEAL. Save your stress for something more worthy of it than Hantavirus.
2. Something you might be interested in…
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment in which you breath oxygen in a pressurized environment. This enables the blood plasma to carry significantly more oxygen than is physiologically possible at sea level, which results in accelerated healing allowing improved tissue function, and it is helpful for a WHOLE LOT of medical conditions. I have a HBOT chamber that provides these benefits, and I will be renting it out. If you are unfamiliar with HBOT, please read about it. Almost all conditions benefit from this therapy including brain trauma, cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s, M.S., Parkinson’s, slow healing wounds, and post-surgical healing, and many are even using it with autistic children. So many conditions have been shown to benefit from HBOT, and many professional athletes regularly use them to speed healing and maximize performance. Typically, individual treatments are approximately $150-$300/each, and ideally one would do 3-5 sessions per week (each session is approximately 1.25 hours). You can have this chamber in your home, which will save you money, add incredible convenience, and allow for more sessions. I am going to rent the chamber for $1,400/month, with 3-month rental agreements. I am willing to do the first three months for only $3500 to the first person that commits. If interested, please email me (paul@drbizjak.com) or call our office (330-405-2751). I’ll attach a pic below. Please read about HBOT, as there is a ton of great info online.

3. Uplifting commencement speech…
Congrats to our daughter, Emma, for earning her Master’s degree this past weekend from University of Central Florida! She did an incredible job, she’s an amazing human being, and we can’t wait to see the impact she has on the world. The commencement speech at her graduation was REALLY good. Major General James E. Smith gave an inspirational and moving speech, listing four constants that WON’T change in this rapidly changing time in history and will have a huge impact on your life and happiness. Here are the “four things that matter, no matter how much everything else changes:” (1.) How you think matters; (2.) Relationships matter; (3.) Small choices matter; and (4.) You… specifically you… matter. I couldn’t find only the speech itself online, but here is the link to the whole commencement… (His speech starts at 1 hour and 3 minutes). I recommend listening to it. Below is a clip of Major General Smith emphasizing his fourth “constant.” It’s quick… but powerful. Also below is a pic of us with Emma at graduation (I couldn’t resist!).
