1. My most recommended books…
For some reason, I have had numerous people ask me these past two weeks for a book recommendation (maybe because of the new year???). I figured I’d share my two all-time most recommended books. They are The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Steven Covey, and The Compound Effect, by Darren Hardy. I’ve read both numerous times. The information is super powerful, timeless, and guaranteed to have a positive impact on your life. I have gifted these books to probably over 50 people. The Compound Effect is something we give as a graduation gift (Don’t worry, they get $ also!). If you’re looking for a good book to jumpstart your 2023, get one of these books. If you have already read them… read them AGAIN! Here are links to Amazon if you want to buy these books: The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey.
2. Article that caught my attention this morning…
As more truths surrounding the whole COVID pandemic continue to emerge, an article on Yahoo News, titled “‘Extremely disconcerting’: NIH didn’t track U.S. funds going to Chinese virus research, watchdog finds,” caught my attention this morning. While there are many points in this article made to dampen the blow of such news, it is the next step to uncovering truths that many had noted early on (me included) that were deemed as conspiracy theory by others. My prediction… They will determine that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was man-made, in the Wuhan lab, and it accidentally (hopefully not purposefully) escaped the lab. They have now found that this controversial research was funded (at least partially) through a company called EcoHealth Alliance, which had received millions of dollars in grant money from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). To protect the NIH, I believe the president of EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, will take the fall. And despite Anthony Fauci stating clearly and repeatedly that the NIH did not fund this research, the facts will show that he, once again, was lying. I have said from day one that the truth will prevail… in regards to all of the controversial aspects of these past two years. And here we go… another truth being unveiled. Saddest part… I distinctly remember someone adamantly saying this was conspiracy theory as I shared this very information, TWO YEARS AGO. And it was in the context of… “This is very interesting and concerning, and is worth looking into.” You can read the Yahoo News article here.
